Selena Gomez & Taylor Lautner

We all thought that Selena Gomez’s relationship with Twilight star Taylor Lautner ended really abruptly while they were both in Canada filming just a few months ago, but we didn’t know the reason why…looks like we might now though!

Sources are reporting that Taylor Lautner may have been cheating on Selena with Victoria Justice, the star of the hit Nickelodeon show Zoey 101.

Sadly Selena had no idea until the very end, even though Taylor was dating both girls for a while. It seems that when she did find out she got rid of him real quick!

OMG this is so sad! It sounds as if once Selena Gomez’s contract is up with the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” she will be moving away from the Disney Channel and heading off to college and working on shooting movies on the side. Selena says about Wizards, “I think this’ll be the last series that I do. I’m going to try to pull a Natalie Portman. Natalie went to Harvard while shooting ‘Star Wars.’ I don’t know how she did it. I want to have lunch with her and ask her — that seems like a bunch of stress right there.”

Selena told reporters that she is keeping her fingers crossed that she will be accepted into Northwestern University, her dream school.

As for how Selena is going to bring her audience along with her when she transitions from the Disney Channel to other, broader movie roles she says, “I’m going to make that transition slowly. I’m not going to immediately go do something that’s way off the charts, because my goal is to keep my audience and have them grow with me.”

What does Selena want to go to school for you might wonder? Well the teen celebrity is looking to study theater or journalism.

How will Selena fit in such a busy schedule of school and filming movies? She has just the answer: “I don’t really like to rest too much. If I’m resting in LA, I tend to miss home [in Texas] a lot and that’s not good for me, because then I get sad and I miss my family. I do constantly like to work. I believe that it keeps me going and makes me happy. ”

Early last month we all noticed that Demi Lovato and her BFF Selena Gomez were talking a whole lot less and instead Demi and Miley Cyrus were talking a whole lot more, calling each other BFFs and hanging out all the time. But now we’re curious if that has to do with them actually realizing they have a lot in common and wanting to hang out together, or if it has to do with something else…

Perhaps it has to do with the fact that Demi wanted to get as close to Miley’s older brother Trace Cyrus as she could. And maybe that meant that Demi had to get super close to Miley to see more of Trace, or to make sure that Miley wouldn’t be mad at her for dating her brother.

Selena Gomez really needs to give up the dream! Everyone upon everyone thinks she is dating Taylor Lautner from the Twilight movies. If neither of them have denied it by now, then ta-dah, they’re dating! Still, Selena refuses to confirm or deny that the two are a couple, telling TV Guide Magazine that Taylor is “a really good friend…That’s all I can say…he’s a friend and he’s great!”

If you follow both Demi and Selena on Twitter, they never talk to each other anymore. But if you scroll back a month ago they used to send each other messages ALL the time. It now looks like Selena is having a blast in Canada with her fellow co-stars from the Ramona and Beezus set and Demi has been spending a lot more time in person, and talking on Twitter, with Miley Cyrus.

The two lovely ladies used to even mention each other in all of their interviews and at any event they went to they would be inseparable, but none of that has happened recently.

Disney knows that Miley Cyrus isn’t going to last much longer in her role on the hit Disney Channel Original Series Hannah Montana, and they are doing everything in their power to keep their target demographic watching the television channel and not find other shows to watch elsewhere.

The hit Disney Channel show Wizards of Waverly Place was just renewed for a third season. The show stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin. In its first two seasons, Wizards became the second highest rated show for the demographic of kids 9 to 14-years-old. So even if Hannah Montana never makes it past the fourth season, Disney has Wizards of Waverly Place to fall back on.

Although it hasn’t reached the stardom of Hannah or the High School Musical franchise, Wizards of Waverly Place is expected to take off soon, especially with the upcoming release of Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie.

Disney is also working to boost the ratings of two new series, Sonny With A Chance, and J.O.N.A.S. starring Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers respectively.

Just friends?

Yea, yea, so Jennifer Stone, who co-stars with Selena Gomez on the Disney Channel Original Series Wizards of Waverly Place, has said that Selena isn’t dating Twilight’s Taylor Lautner, stating that the two are just good friends. But honestly, why hasn’t Selena come out and said anything yet. Why is Selena, or the Walt Disney Company relying on the rumor to be “laid to rest” by someone else’s mouth. You haven’t heard Taylor say anything yet either, so if they’re “above” answering, shouldn’t everyone else be too?

Why would Jennifer feel it was her place to say anything unless told to do so as a cover up? She could have just said “they’re ‘probably just friends,’ but you should ask Selena or Taylor.” But no, she claimed to know for sure that they weren’t dating, and we’re not buying it.

Selena hasn’t even been on set with Jennifer filming for Wizards of Waverly Place recently, she’s been in Canada having an AMAZING time on the set of her upcoming movie Ramona and Beezus. So how would Jennifer know all of the juicy gossip deets?

Jennifer said in an interview, “Just because they’re hanging out together doesn’t mean they’re dating, you know. She’s friends with guys! A lot of girls have guy friends.”

Sorry, but when Selena and Taylor are photographed going out to dinner and to the movies together multiple times in one week and people who saw them in the theater said they were really close and cuddly, it doesn’t matter what Jennifer has to say, we still think they’re a couple and we wish them the best of luck!

We don’t want to scare you! As far as we know Selena and Taylor are still “dating” (even though neither of them has admitted it yet!). Taylor was spotted walking around Vancouver, Canada with Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice. The two teen stars were hanging out with Taylor’s dad and Victoria’s mom.
